2002 Yamaha R6 : Livingston : £2,700

2002 5EB Yamaha R6

I have owned this bike for two years now, and now i fancy a change.
In the two years that i have had this bike it has had alot done to it, starting with the engine.
This was replaced with one from the same model but had far less miles on it about 9000 as the one i had was 23000.
As the machine was being rebuilt, compression and leak down test where done and all preformed to manufacturers specs.
K&N filter and a Devkevic end can and link pipe, carbs rejeted to suit.
Ohlins steering damper was put on, as i never ride without one,
New nose cone and zero gravity screen.
New front and rear sprocket plus chain.
New brake pads and serviced the callipers.
New tank because the one that was on it had a big dent in it, last owner dropped the bike.
All black plastic panels removed and replaced with real carbon fibre.
Single seat cowl and a Harris exhaust hanger where fitted.
I also put pirelli diablo corsa 3 tyres on the rims as i was running on BX2, Corsa 3 is a far better tyre.
I drop the oil and renew the filter every 1500 miles on all my bikes and this one is no different, in fact even more so on this is the one as i use the most.
The bike has tax and an mot, there is about 5 month remaining.
I could go on and on about this bike but you really need to see it for yourself, however i will say that the only thing that stops this bike from being perfect is small areas of the paint work, but then it is a ten year old bike.
Test ride's are welcome BUT only if you can prove you have fully comp insurance AND the full asking price is in my hand.
If you have any other questions please feel free to ask, except if your going to ask to swap because i have no interest in swapping thanks.
